Who we are
Lead The Waves Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 13957903, registered office Unit 10 Enterprise Court, Farfield Park, Manvers, Rotherham S63 5DB, England. We are the data controller for anything you send us through this website.
What this website collects on its own
Nothing. There are no cookies, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking pixels and no third-party scripts on this site. Everything it loads — the type, the film, the photographs — is served from this domain, so no other company sees that you visited.
Like every website, our host keeps ordinary server logs, which include visitors’ IP addresses, for security and to keep the site running. We do not use those logs to identify anyone.
What happens when you use the contact form
The form asks for your name, your e-mail address, your phone number if you choose to give one, and your message. We use it for one thing: to reply to you.
We do not sell it. We do not share it for anyone’s marketing. We do not add you to a mailing list. If you have not asked us a question, we will not write to you.
Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in answering people who get in touch with us, and, where you are asking us about working together, taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
Who else handles it
- Netlify hosts this website, and form submissions pass through Netlify before they reach us.
- Google Workspace carries our e-mail, so your message arrives in a Google-hosted inbox.
Both act on our instructions, and both may store data outside the United Kingdom. Where they do, the transfer is covered by the safeguards those providers offer for international transfers, including the UK addendum to the standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep your message while we are in touch and for a reasonable period afterwards, in case the conversation picks up again. Then we delete it. If you would like yours deleted sooner, ask and we will.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to us holding it. Send the request through the contact form and say what you would like — we will answer within one month.
If you are not happy with how we have handled it you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Children
This website is meant for adults and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If this notice changes, the date at the top changes with it.
